SOAC In-House Soccer Registration for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 is now open.
SIGNUP WINDOW: 7/5-7/25*
*Signups occurring between 7/26-8/13 will incur a $30 late fee. There will be no signups after 8/13. This timeline enables us to provide your child & family the best, most organized program possible. Thank you in advance for helping us achieve this goal!
COST: $75 (sign up between 7/26-8/13: $105)
SEASON DATES: 6 consecutive Saturdays, 9/15-10/20 (raindate 10/27)
#1 - CRITICAL: FIRST, YOU MUST DETERMINE YOUR CHILD'S "BASEBALL AGE" (THIS IS A STANDARD PRACTICE FOR YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUES). To do so, we are using the date of May 1, 2019 (yes, 2019).
#2: DETERMINE WHICH DIVISION YOUR CHILD ELIGIBLE FOR - Tball, Bantam, Minors or Majors
Using May 1, 2019 as the official date to determine your child's "baseball age" (if nec., see above for explanaiton and examples):
NEW: Majors: 10, 11 & 12
Minors: Ages 8 & 9
Bantam: Ages 6 & 7
Tball: Ages 4* & 5
*Tball: Child must turn 4 years old by Sept. 14, 2018. This is for insurance reasons and cannot be changed.
**There will be no "play ups" (playing in an age division older than your child's "baseball age"). This is due to using the official "baseball age" date of May 1, 2019.
2018 FALL BALL SCHEDULE
TBALL: 8:30-10:00 a.m. @ Copper Beech MS
BANTAM: 10:15-11:45 a.m. @ Copper Beech MS
MINORS: 12:30-2:30 @ London Woods Field (on London Rd., Yorktown, N.Y.)
NEW: MAJORS: 2:30-4:30 @ Local Field TBD
*COACHES ARE DEFINITELY NEEDED - WE ARE STARTING FROM 0! No coaches, no fall league. Unfortunately, it's that simple. Our league is run by volunteers, so that our children may participate in various athletic activities. As was the case this past spring, ratios are typically 4:1 or 5:1, sometimes 3:1. 1x/week, 90 mins. You got this!
